An account is funded by the first transfer that reached it with money in it: the oldest send naming it from another account, outside the fee blocks, of a token that had a price at that moment and worth at least five cents then -- so a spray of dust funds nobody, a token nobody trades funds nobody, and a representative's fee payouts are not a gift.

Any priced token counts; a wallet's first money may be a stablecoin. Mints and balances set by a token's admin are not transfers.
