Who runs this

Rosling Data is an independent explorer of the Keeta network, run privately. It is not operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with Keeta.

What this site does not do

There are no accounts and no sign-in. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no script, font or image from another origin: every request your browser makes for a page goes to this site alone, and the site tells the browser so in its security policy. Nothing about you is sold or shared with anyone.

What it keeps

• One cookie, when you ask for it. The settings page writes a cookie named settings with your choices -- theme, unit, how times are written and in which zone, which name service is primary, whether dust is hidden, the language -- and nothing else: no identifier, nothing that says who you are. It is set only when you save the settings, lasts a year, and clearing it restores the defaults.
• A request log without you in it. Each request is written to the server's log as its status, method, path and duration. Your network address and your browser are not written. The log is rotated and a few days of it exist at any time.
• A counter for a minute. To limit how many requests one client may make, the site counts requests per network address in memory for one minute. That count is not written anywhere and is gone a minute later.
• A name you ask about. When you ask the site to check a name at a username service, the name you typed is queued and looked up at that service; the queue holds it until the lookup ran. A name that turns out to exist is ledger data and is kept like any other.

Who else sees your visit

• Cloudflare. The site is reached through Cloudflare, which terminates your connection, sees your network address, and may set a cookie of its own when it challenges traffic it takes for automated. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to that.
• Hosting. The server and the database run in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), on Amazon Web Services and Neon.

What it shows about the ledger

Everything on these pages comes from the public Keeta ledger and from services that publish on or about it: addresses, balances, transfers, swaps, usernames a name service attached to an address, certificates, prices from exchanges, bridge transfers. Ledger data is public by design and held by every node of the network; this site cannot remove or change what is on the chain, and neither can anyone else.

The site does not decrypt anything. Attributes of a certificate marked sensitive are shown as *** and never read. What an issuer attached to a token as metadata is shown as text only; no link or image in it is followed.

If a page shows something that identifies you and you believe it should not be shown here -- a name on an address, a label -- write to the address below. Where the law gives you the right to have it removed from this site, it will be removed here; it remains on the ledger.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may ask what this site holds about you and have it corrected or erased. Given the above, the answer is normally: nothing but the cookie in your own browser, which you can clear yourself.

Changes

This notice changes when the site does; the date at the top says when it last did.
